I have a Workshop (really a PARTY) tomorrow and … one of my friends requested a Halloween card. While surfing around the web, I happened upon Dawn Griffith's blog. I met Dawn at Founder's Circle this year. She is AWESOME. And … I though this was one of the cutest Halloween cards I've seen in a while. It highlghts the Wicked Cool Stamp Set, which is one of my favorites. This card is lined with Whisper White Cardstock. Here's what you need to make the card:
Wicked Cool Stamp Set (page 23, IBC)
Concord Crush, Tangerine Tango, Basic Black and Whisper White Cardstock
Jet Black StazOn Ink
Bitty Bat, Large Oval, and Scallop Oval Punches
Signo Gel Pen (White), 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzlin' Diamonds, Stampin' Dimensionals
Follow this link to the card on Dawn's website and her instructions (video). http://www.dawnsstampingthoughts.net
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
Moving on to Christmas… I found this design on SUDSOL (Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing Online) and changed it just a little. Jan Farring posted a class, created by Diane Scholtz, using the Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper. Pat Barber took those designs and created a holiday set. This is one of the cards she created. Diane is actually a friend of mine so I'm rather proud of this card. I will say … the scallop trip corner punch is tricky!! This card is lined with Very Vanilla Cardstock. Here's what you need to make this card…
A Cute Christmas (Holiday Mini Catalog) and Season of Joy (Page 33,IBC) Stamp Sets
Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, and Very Vanilla Card Stock
Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper
Scallop Trip Corner, Large Oval, and Scallop Oval Punches
Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Victoria Crochet Trium
Stampin' Dimensions
My wish for you is an AWESOME HOLIDAY SEASON!!
