I'm featuring the Standard and Jumbo Stampin' Around Wheels in my October Clubs. We're learning to make our own designer paper and will even create a card.
The first project is a card using the "Neighborhood" Jumbo Wheel. We used the following to create this card:
Neighborhood Stampin' Around Jumbo Wheel and Handle
Paper: Night of Navy, River Rock, Tangerine Tango, Watercolor
Ink: Jet Black StazOn, Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy, Certainly Celery, Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Stampin' Write Markers, Vintage Brads, Mat Pack, Paper Piercer, Stampin Dimensionals, Wheel Guide
One tip I have discovered for using the Wheels is to always use the wheel guides. You will get a straight line every time. Secondly, make sure they are inked well. Stampin' Up makes ink cartridges that you can ink yourself — these guarantee you have the right amount of ink for your project.
The second project is a recipe page in which we created our own designer paper with a Stampin' Around Wheel and VersaMark.
One of the highlights of our technique clubs is that we are creating a Recipe Album. I recommend the 6" x 6" Linen Ring Albums because its so easy to add the pages. Each month the hostess sends me a recipe and prepares the recipe for us to sample. So … dinner is almost always provided. In turn, the hostess receives free as part of the benefits for hostessing the club. It has worked well. Several of my customers are planning on making them as gifts.
