I live in Coastal Georgia, right outside of Savannah in the city of Rincon with my husband, Bill and our four (4) preschool kitties — Sherlock, Tiggy, Itty Bitty and Scruffy. I am a Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and specialize in making cards.
As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I currently teach approximately 50 people the art of creating handmade greeting cards. Now … these aren’t the cards that you made in kindergarten. They are professionally designed with rubber stamps, inks, layers … you name it, we do it. I even take custom orders. They way I describe the range of what I do is … “if you can “think” of it, I can create it. \
And … I might add, my customers are some of my BEST friends, whom I affectionately call “Buddies”; hence my Team are “Stamping Buddies”.
My husband, Bill, is the Children’s Pastor at Countryside Baptist Church in Guyton, Georgia. Our faith is foundational to everything we do. Before I signed up as a demonstrator with Stampin’ Up!, I developed a passion for creativity. After about 5 years of earnest prayer, I felt God leading in this direction in my life. He has truly blessed — within the first year of my association with Stampin’ Up! I achieved the title of “Rising Star”, which means I was in the top 15 new demonstrators in the country. God is so good!
As you will see in some of my posts, we participate in several different ministries. In the past we created approximately 500 cards to encourage people who are homebound, patients and staff in the local retirement centers and nursing homes. And in 2011, we made about 500 cards for men and women serving in the United States Military. Currently, I am beginning a card ministry to welcome visitors to our church and community.
This is a huge ministry for me that has touched thousands of lives in the 10 years that I’ve been blessed to be a part of it. It is mind-boggling that God chooses to use us to make a difference in His world. So … thanks for stopping by. It is my prayer that God will bless you abundantly in everything you do.
